The vacuum is very good and has good suction. I haven't yet used the wash feature. The lead is extremely long, the build of the unit is solid. Very pleased. Its not light and it doesn't glide accross the floor. But it is sturdy and as I said, suction is very good. I bought this as I wanted a combined carpet cleaner and vacuum to save on space. It comes with seperate hoses for wet and dry cleaning and is easy to use. Definately worth the money. Excellent service from John Lewis, cannot fault them. Always feel I'm taking a chance when I make an internet purchase except when I buy from John Lewis. They offer good guarantee's and return policy, so feel very confident using them. If I can get what I want from John Lewis I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.
